Love: No One Believes That He Wants It for Real
Everybody, don’t be affected by my rumours. In these 27 years, my love life has been incredibly boring. It must be because I went to an all boys’ school. During my teenage years, I didn’t say more than three lines to any girl, making me really shy. Even though I was curious about the opposite sex, but I didn’t know how to start a relationship, until when I was in University, when I had my first love. After entering the entertainment industry, the company heavily prohibited dating, but the rumours still came. I know that I won’t give people the wrong message and
cause them to misunderstand , so all of my girl-friends are super "boy-like". My conclusion is that because I have a wealthy background so if there's rumors, to others it's simple dating, but for me it would be playing girls. All the other executives that don't know me well thinks that I'm one of the players, which is unfair! Even if I truly love someone, the results won't change.
Admits He Had Feelings For Rain Li
They say I'm "Prince of Rumors"? Actually of all rumors, only the one with Rain Li made more sense. That time we thought it was pretty okay, we can communicate, and she's cute. The rest I believe all the readers know, so I won't say more. Recently there are rumors with Linda Chung, saying I changed in front of her, and that she constantly sent SMS to me....... Even though we had a lot of close scenes together, but did I love her? Of course yes, but only during working times. I always pull myself out after work.
Without love, it's like life is missing something. Do girls ask me out? Yeah, usually they ask for my phone number, but I tell them to write down theirs instead, and I throw the papers away afterwards! Haha.
Family: Stressed When Parents Want Me To Be Successful
As the eldest son, my parents have a lot of hopes on me, even if I'm a 27 years old adult, they see me as a little kid. They will always attend all my bigger performances, I will always spend a lot of time and practice. However, everytime after the performance, when I think it was "okay", my parents will point some areas where they think I didn't try hard enough, I can do better, or it's not perfect. I become extremely upset, but on the other hand, I understand that parents want their sons to be successful. As their son, I'll definitely work hard, and be a successful artist. I will try my best and won't embarass my parents.
Not Giving Up On Acting Career
Although my family is wealthy compared to others, but when I was a kid, my father's business was not as big, and my life was the same as any other kid. It was after my siblings were born, then my father became successful and the responsibilities of helping my father is on me. When I was in university, I was majoring in architecture, but in the end, I chose to be an artist. At first, my father gave me five years of time, if I can't achieve something, then I would have to help him with business. There was a time where my career was not as smooth, and I thought about quitting, but my younger brother says he's interested in business, and my younger sister is taking accounting right now. I'm sure that they will give my father some help, and I still don't want to give up on acting, so I will continue it until the end.
Career: Competition with Buddies
As an artist, I think that "opportunities" are very important. After "Twin of Brothers", I started to gain more fame, but the company decided to send me to open up the Mainland market. I admit that I was worried then, but I don't have a choice, so I entered the Mainland market. Luckily, the series I filmed in Mainland aired in Hong Kong also, so my worries were gone.
Like they say, "If you gain something, you're bound to lose something ", during these years, the company had a lot of newbies, like Ron Ng, Bosco Wong, Kenneth Ma, and they were famous. If you ask me how I feel? The truth is I'm happy, because all those are my buddies, and knew each other for a long time. From another point of view, if there were no other artists as competitors, I will only be in series as someone's son or brother. I won't be able to improve if there was nobody to compete against me.
Closest With Ron Ng
Out of the "Five Tigers", I'm closest with Ron, because our personality and thoughts are very similar, sometimes we would know what each other want right away. The most important thing is, we wish each other well, so there won't be reports of us in disagreement. Plus, we have different styles, we won't steal each other's spotlight. If he is doing better in his career, wouldn't that be good? I accept this kind of positive competition.
